Bulk backlink analysis API: what $100 buys a small shop

The sign-up credit is $100, no card. At $0.0001 per credit it goes a lot further than most owners expect, so here are some sample spends.

Four ways to spend it

Each plan below is an example, not a recommendation to use every credit.

Rank your whole town

One bulk_dr call scores up to 2,000 domains for 1 credit, or $0.0001. Paste every business in your category and sort by DR.

List the sites linking to a rival

refdomains costs 2 credits, $0.0002, for up to 1,000 rows. Scan the list for local directories you could also join.

Find the overlap

intersect takes 2 to 10 domains for 2 credits and shows sites linking to several of them. Those are your likeliest outreach targets.

Read the anchors

anchors costs 2 credits. It shows how others word a link to a rival, which hints at how they describe that business.

Costs, from the price list

1 credit = $0.0001. Prices from the account page; one call is billed once whatever the number of rows.

What we would do with $100

Spend about a cent. One bulk call on your local category, two intersect calls, a few refdomains pulls on the rivals that AI tools keep naming. That is the whole job.

Now the client case. Fifty clients, each checked monthly with three calls, is 150 calls, or $0.015 a month. Ahrefs sells its API units inside subscriptions from $129 a month for 200,000 units, at least 50 units per request.

Agencies see it differently. If you run client sites, the maths changes, though only a little. Count the calls you make per client per month, and multiply.

Fine print: we offer link data only, so keep the other tools for keywords and rank tracking. It takes minutes to compare prices yourself.

Your first three calls

Sign in with Google at the top right. Easy. The $100 arrives as 1,000,000 credits, and no card is needed. Copy your key from the account page, and it will start with sk_live.

Try the free lookup from the home page first. Then run one bulk_dr call on the domains you collected in the rival checklist. Every authenticated response includes a _credits field with the cost and your remaining balance.

Errors are plain. A 401 means the key is missing or wrong, a 402 means the credit has run out. Nothing is charged for a failed call.

Keep the key out of public code, and revoke it if it leaks.

Where it falls short

Cheap links data, not a full SEO suite

Keyword volumes, rank tracking and daily-fresh crawl are outside what we do. If you need those, Ahrefs or Semrush are the fuller products; we cover link counts, anchors and DR at a low per-call price.

  • Data refreshes about monthly
  • 1,000 rows per call; deep pages are capped at 50,000
  • Top-ups are USDT (TRC-20) only; sign-in is Google only
