About AILinkBoost and the link index behind it

We sell link data. We write for the owners who suddenly need it because a chatbot named their rival.

What we do

AILinkBoost is a backlink-data service with a free online explorer and a developer REST API. It returns backlinks, referring domains, anchor text, top pages and a 0-100 Domain Rating for any domain, as JSON.

The site you are reading is the owner-friendly front. We wrote it for people who run a shop, a clinic or a trade business and have never opened an SEO tool. Contact goes through the account page.

Who this site is for

Think of the owner of a three-van plumbing firm, a dental clinic with two chairs, or a shop that sells candles online. They read that ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews now answer customers directly, and they ask a fair question: why is my competitor in there and I am not?

We cannot make a chatbot name you. Not us, not anyone. What we can do is give you numbers fast and honestly, then point you at the dull fixes that usually matter more. Our troubleshooting table is the page we are proudest of, since it is mostly about robots.txt files and thin pages.

Every figure on this site is either from our link index or labelled as an invented example. No testimonials, no awards, no named customers. We have not got any to show you. Simple as that.

Questions about the service or your account go through the account page. Use it for anything you cannot settle by reading the docs. Short and plain.

Link data for small business owners should not need a training course. If a page here needs one, tell us and we will rewrite it.

We update pages when something real changes: a new Google announcement, a change to our prices, a fix to our index. The date at the top of each page is the date of the last edit, and old claims we can no longer support get removed, not hidden.

Four rules we write by

Date everything

Google updates, product launches and our own data refreshes all carry a month and year, so you can check them.

Label examples

Any worked scenario is marked as invented. If it has no label, it came from the product price list or the index.

Name the limits

Link data is a monthly snapshot. It cannot say what an AI tool will answer tomorrow, and we say so on each page.

Send people elsewhere when needed

Need keyword volumes or rank tracking? Use Ahrefs or Semrush. We would rather lose the sale than waste your afternoon.

Where the numbers come from

Our own crawler and our own link index. Nobody else's data is repackaged here.

That index is refreshed roughly once a month, so recent links may be missing. We say it on the page, in the FAQ and in the runbook, because an owner making a decision deserves to know the age of the data.

The index covers 181,132,097 domains and 2,774,625,913 domain-to-domain links. That is large, yet not complete. Some very new or very small sites will return thin results.

What we leave to others

Keyword research, rank tracking and a daily-fresh crawl are better served by Ahrefs and Semrush. We do link counts at a low per-call price, and the credit page shows what that means in dollars. You can also pair it with the monthly runbook.
